14th July: Arrival Leh
On Arrival Leh, Max Holidays representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to the Hotel in Leh. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.
15th July : Indus Valley Monastery Tour (80 Kms Round Trip)
Morning after breakfast visit Shey Palace and Gompa situated on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, Thiksey 19 Kms from Leh spectacularly sited and Hemis monastery 40 Kms from Leh it is the biggest Gompa. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh Hotel.
16th July: Phyang Festival
Phyang Festival is a monastic festival has sacred dance – dramas and the main attraction is the pilgrimages to the huge Thangka of Skyabje Jigten Gombo which is kept on exhibition during the two day festival. Enoy the inaugural day of the monastic festival at Phyang monastery just located 15Kms west of Leh. Packed lunch will be served at the festival. Return to hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
17th July: Phyang Festival
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the closing day with mask dances at Phyang monastery. Packed lunch will be served at the festival. Return to the hotel. Have your dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
18th July: Leh to Uletokpo / Alchi (70 Kms / 03 to 04 hrs)
Morning head to Uleytokpo. Enroute visit Alchi monastery, complex of temples in Alchi village. Have your lunch and then walk to the beautiful village of Mangyu. Overnight at Uleytokpo camps / Alchi Resort.
19th July: Excursion to Lamayuru (110 Kms round trip)
Morning excursion to Lamayuru monastery having the appealing charm and beauty .In the evening visit the Rizong monastery and Chulichan nunnery. Overnight stay at the Luxury Uleytokpo camps and have a very pleasant night here.
20th July: Uletokpo / Alchi to Leh
Morning drive back to Leh, enroute visit Likir and Spituk monastery around 18kms from Leh. Evening visit the Stok palace and museum, it is the museum to view the Buddhist remains in India and also to come across the Buddhist lifestyle and culture. Overnight hotel at Leh.
21st July: Leh – Nubra via Khardungla Pass (140 Kms/ 05-06 hrs)
Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley – The Valley of flowers is about 150 Kms north of Leh via the World Highest Motorable road (18500 feet/ 5602 Mts) Khardungla pass the view from the top is amazing. Arrive Nubra by noon and check in at The Camps. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the camp.
22nd July: Nubra Sightseeing (100 Kms round trip)
Morning after breakfast proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hundar. You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own). Visit Hundar and Diskit monasteries. Evening visit Samstaling Monastery. Overnight at the Camp.
23rd July: Nubra to Leh
Morning after Breakfast proceed for Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road. Evening explore Leh bazaar, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot. Overnight at the hotel.
24th July : Departure
In-time Max Holidays representative will transfer you to Leh airport to board flight for Delhi.
